We believe that nature is our greatest ally and our greatest source of inspiration, and that a species can only thrive when everything around it thrives as well. That’s why we make all of our products with care for the planet in mind, using only natural, biocompatible ingredients that are gentle on the skin and the environment. Our inspiration comes from UNESCO’s world heritage the Wadden Sea, which is our back garden and inspiration for the ingredients we choose. We make skincare for the sensitive skin that can be used by all. In our efforts to hand-blend natural and organic ingredients free of all things unsustainable and harmful, we take our responsibility as caretakers of this planet.

Many of the Wadden Sea plants such as sea fennel, yarrow, dandelion, elderberry, sea chamomile, and sea kale have been used for centuries in traditional medicine and skincare. Seeing these plants grow, flower and seed in our back garden, gave us the inspiration to create SKAAI Skincare. We use them to create proper skincare, based on the natural and holistic power of organic and natural plants to soothe the sensitive skin.

We are a no-nonsense company that formulates its products based on research, and the concept of ‘skin minimalism’.  This means we spend much time searching for ingredients, testing them, and formulating a bare-essentials routine that is filled with wholesome nutrients to soothe, clean, tone, and moisturize even the most sensitive and allergy-prone skin. By developing fewer products that target sensitive and allergy-prone skin we can achieve powerful results without overloading the skin or the environment. We believe that less is more and create products that are effective and sustainable.
We do not believe in anti-aging.  We believe in healthy aging!

At SKAAI Skincare, we are dedicated to using the finest, natural and organic ingredients. Our ingredients are sourced from small, ethical suppliers, as local as possible and around the world. They include the plants that inspired us, the coastal and sea plants that grow in the Wadden Sea, but also other plants known for their medicinal value throughout Europe, and include some of the richest butters and oils from Africa and from the Amazon rainforest that we purchase from women companies built upon micro-credit and via the FairTrade and Rainforest Alliance principals. We believe that wellbeing, beauty and health go hand in hand. We believe that everyone deserves to be enriched by nature and feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

We offer pure, no-nonsense skincare products developed for the sensitive skin, that can be used for all skin types and concerns. From nourishing facial oils to purifying facial masks. Our products are formulated with the highest quality and are free from synthetic fragrances, artificial colors, harmful chemicals, nano-particles and micro-plastics in solid or liquid form.
